Lifelong Georgia Resident

Ben Cope is a lifelong Georgia resident, raised in Columbus, Georgia, where he graduated from Pacelli High School. He moved to Kennesaw, Georgia in 1998 and graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2002 with a B.A. in International Affairs. He has lived in the 14th District for nearly a decade and currently resides in Paulding County.

Ben and Angel have been married for 23 years and are the parents of two daughters and two sons, who were adopted through foster care. They were a licensed foster care family for five years in the state of Georgia, partnering with FaithBridge, a Christian agency that equips local churches to solve their community’s foster care crisis. They are members of Liberty Square Church in Cartersville, Georgia.

Giving Back To The Community

An active volunteer and advocate for conservative values, Ben has served on the Board of Directors for Reflections of Trinity for more than 20 years, and has been the Chairman of the Board for the last three years. Reflections of Trinity is a non-profit food pantry that serves more than 1400 families every week from 43 different Georgia counties. Ben also serves on the Board of Directors for Life Impact, a ministry that equips men to become better husbands, fathers, and leaders.

An entrepreneur and business owner, Ben is the Founder & CEO of Internet Genius Consulting, a full-service web design and internet marketing agency. He understands the challenges facing small-business owners and believes strongly in supporting local business.
